Though following very low calorie diets may result in rapid weight loss in the short term, slow and steady wins the weight loss race. The most successful weight loss plans combine diet, exercise and behavioral therapy. Talking to a certified nutritionist is a good first step.

Every person has a different situation, so the approach to losing weight depends on the individual. The first step is to identify what's going on. Are you doing something that is making weight gain more likely? Some of these behaviors include:

Regenerative Complete uses the InBody Scanner to access your health, muscle, water weight and BMI to understand your baseline body structure. This allows us to set reasonable weight and fitness goals that have measured results. We will regularly monitor your progress with comparison scans so you can verify successful ourcomes..

Nutrition Consultations

Learn how to make healthy food choices by meeting with our Registered Dietitian.  Our individualized, hour-long consultations are designed to help you achieve your nutrition goals related to general nutrition, weight management, and sports performance.  A nutrition consult can help you establish good eating habits for you and your family, achieve weight loss and weight management, improve sports performance, and reduce your risk for disease.

  • Individual sessions are $55.

  • A package of 3 sessions can be purchased for $150

  • A package of 5 sessions for $225.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING

  • Primary focus on creating and maintaining healthy behaviors

  • Addresses health concerns in several areas of wellness (energy, exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, life balance, mental health, spiritual health, etc.)

  • Coach partners with client and works with them to make lasting behavioral changes by applying principles of goal-setting theory

  • Helps client elicit self-awareness and insight

Client will meet with health and wellness coach once a week.  $125/month (2-month minimum contract).

Phentermine for Weight Loss


Phentermine is an FDA approved medication that has been available since 1959.  Phentermine is an appetite suppressant that affects the central nervous system and suppresses appetite.  It works by helping to release certain chemicals in the brain that control appetite.   Phentermine must be prescribed by a doctor and, when used in conjunction with a proper diet and an exercise program, can be proven to help lose weight more effectively. The idea is that taking phentermine initially to kick start a new lifestyle for a severely overweight individual has been proven more beneficial than diet and exercise alone. Phentermine is used together with diet and exercise to treat obesity (over weight) in people with risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes.

Eligibilty for Phentermine:

Our practitioners will review each patient on an individual basis to determine if they are a candidate for Phentermine.  Patients may be eligible for the medication if they are over the age of 16 and under the age of 66.  Please be aware, some medications, illnesses and other concerns in a patient’s medical history may be a contraindication of Phentermine.  Patient safety is our #1 concern. Our Practitioners will determine if the benefits of Phentermine outweigh the risks. Not all patients are candidates for Phentermine.

 

How Should I Take Phentermine?

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Phentermine is usually taken twice daily, before breakfast and lunch.

Talk with your doctor if you experience increased hunger or if you think the medication is not working properly. Taking more of this medication will not make it more effective and can cause serious life-threatening side effects.  Phentermine should be taken only for a short time, such as a few weeks. Tell your doctor if you have not lost 4 lbs. after 4 weeks of treatment.

Do not stop using Phentermine suddenly after long-term use or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Ask your doctor how to avoid withdrawal symptoms when you stop using this medicine.
Phentermine stimulates the central nervous system (nerves and brain), which increases your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite.

What Happens if I Miss a Dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as your remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.  Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

A dose taken too late in the evening may cause insomnia.

What are the Possible Side Effects of Phentermine?

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to Phentermine: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Less serious side effect of Phentermine may include:

  • Feeling restless or hyperactive

  • Headache, dizziness, tremors

  • Sleep problems (insomnia)

  • Flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling)

  • Dry mouth

  • Diarrhea or constipation

  • Upset stomach

  • Increased or decreased interest in sex

  • Impotence

What Should I Avoid When Taking Phentermine?

  • Phentermine can impair your thinking or reactions.

  • Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.

  • Drinking alcohol can increase certain side effects of Phentermine.

What Other Drugs Affect Phentermine?

Tell your doctor about all other medicines you use, especially:

  • Insulin or oral diabetes medications

  • Certain blood pressure medications, such as doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), or terazosin (Hytrin)

  • Antidepressants such as citalopram (Celexa), fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem, Symbyax), paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), and others

  • Any other diet pills

Inos­i­tol is also vital for hair growth, helps to prevent high cho­les­terol and the hard­en­ing of the arteries caused by cho­les­terol buildup. It has also been said to have a calming effect on the nervous sys­tem, and is being studied as a pos­si­ble treatment for depression, panic attacks, and even Alzheimer’s disease.  It also participates in action of sero­tonin, a neu­ro­trans­mit­ter known to control mood and appetite.

Choline is also part of the vit­a­min B family. It aids the utilization of fats in the body and supports weight loss. Choline assists in the emulsi­fi­ca­tion of fats and cho­les­terol in the body by helping to form smaller fat globules in the blood. It also helps with gen­eral body detox­i­fi­ca­tion by “decon­gest­ing” the liver of excess fats. Choline is helpful for fatigue. When choline is depleted in the body, fat metab­o­lism and uti­liza­tion may be decreased.
